I've been a dog walker since 2020 and still have to pinch myself that not only is this my job, but it's grown to support a wonderful team of people. Every day I am greeted by the happiest dogs with the waggiest tails, and I get to take them for walks in beautiful places and be a facilitator of fun for them. Building relationships and trust with pets and their owners is something I will never take for granted and is hugely rewarding.
I take great pride in ensuring that every dog has the best time possible when out on walks with me, and have built group walks around matching dogs whose personalities complement the others. Members of the public often comment on how well the dogs get along and how well behaved they are, although a pocket full of treats certainly helps!
My dogs, Penny and Bonnie, are my world (and Rob too, I should add!), and I know how hard it is to put your pets in someone elses care, so every day I strive to be the pet care professional that I would want looking after them.

I joined the Percy&Bream team in August 2022 and I’m absolutely loving it! After working in an office for a few years, I decided to follow my dream and look after animals as they have a big place in my heart.
All of the dogs in my care are a bundle of joy and seeing them having so much fun on my walks whether it’s having zoomies or picking up sticks the size of tree trunks, it makes being a dog walker so enjoyable!
Having been around animals all my life, I feel blessed to say I get to look after them for a living. Rest assured your dog will have a great time whilst in my care and they will be looked after as if they were my own.
Whether it’s quality time on walks or giving them a quick visit at home in the day, I can guarantee they will all get the same amount of care and affection.

I’ve been working with Percy&Bream since spring 2025 - a lovely time of year to start but even having just made it through a wet and cold winter I am still smiling from ear to ear, because I absolutely love it! It is probably a little of a cliché, a woman of my age needing to change her vocation, but I am that woman. After 40 odd years crunching numbers, I put the laptop away. Charis and Rob offered me this dream job and I am truly grateful they did.
I adore animals. My partner and I have our old lady Jack Russell, named Tiny, who joins my group walks occasionally. It really is pure joy being around the dogs I care for, from their goofiness, to the look they give me to ‘check in’ gives me the reassurance that they trust me and are having fun. I will always treat them as my own and give them the same love, care and treats (just don’t tell Tiny!). The love they show me when I walk through their doors is like nothing else and I will never take that for granted.

When Charis started P&B in the summer of 2021 I originally was just a behind-the-scenes helper, however within a few months she was quickly getting booked up so rather than return to my London office job I swapped St Pancras for spaniels, slobber and soggy towels.
Before meeting Charis I'd never really been around dogs, but after helping look after her family pets and then getting two dogs of our own I can honestly say I am 100% a dog person now (and not only because I'm allergic to cats).
In 2025 I took a step back from the hands-on side of the business to explore a new career, but I still love joining Charis on walks when I can and helping the business grow.
